We celebrated getting together in 2014 followed by the 2017 National Gunner Dinner being in support of the "Regiments" at which we raised $800.00 for each of the 5 Regiments and the School of Artillery, now it is time to show our loyalty to the Corps.   The Australian Artillery Association's 2019 National Gunner Dinner is dedicated to the Corps of the Royal Regiment of Australian Artillery and we invite you to join with us on Saturday 24th August 2019 to celebrate the Corps we all love, respect and have served or are currently serving.

The 2019 National Gunner Dinner will again be held at The Event Centre in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland.

Again we hope to bring together Gunners from all over Australia (and indeed the world), of all ranks, trades and service types both ex serving and serving.   An open invitation to those from other Corps that have served in an Artillery unit, many of whom, continue to this day their association with the various Artillery Associations throughout Australia.   An invitation has also been extended to the Royal New Zealand Artillery Association for any of their members to attend.   You do not have to be a member of the Australian Artillery Association or any other Artillery association to participate in this event.   This invitation is also warmly extended to the wives/partners and families of attendees and their close personal friends.

The aim of the event, on this occasion, will be to raise money for the RAA Regimental Fund.   The biggest benefactor however will be, without any doubt, each and every attendee.   100% of the monies raised, after all costs are covered, will be donated to the RAA Regimental Funds.

For this event to be viable we will need a minimum attendance of 350 however we anticipate that the number of attendees will be around or greater than 400 making this an event not to be missed.

The Australian Artillery Association's 2019 National Gunner Dinner will commence at 4:20pm for 5:00pm at The Event Centre Caloundra and conclude at 12:00 midnight.   The event will again be broken into 2 elements the first of which will be the semi formal dinner between 5:00pm and 8:00pm.   Entertainment will be made available for the remainder of the evening including a dance floor for those so inclined, up to 11:00pm.   Between 11:00pm and midnight the entertainment will cease as we bring the evening to a close with last drinks and vacating the premises by midnight.   Note, more details will be made available soon on the type of entertainment to be made available throughout the evening - watch this space!

Below is a more detailed overview of the entire event including costs.

Our 2014 dinner was simply to get everyone together then the 2017 dinner was dedicated to the "Regiments" both of which proved immensely popular and well supported.  The Australian Artillery Association's 2019 National Gunner Dinner has been dedicated to the "Corps" and your all invited.

To hold the 2019 National Gunner Dinner bringing everyone together regardless of rank, trade or unit affiliation inclusive of those who served in other Corps in support of the Royal Regiment of Australian Artillery.   Additionally at the 2019 National Gunner Dinner you are invited to bring a friend to experience the esprit-de-corps within the Royal Regiment of Australian Artillery.
